Summary :
Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett’s son, Davis.Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.
About the author :

My review :
I thought I’d fall in love with this book but I just didn’t, I didn’t like the author’s style of writing, easy words trying to describe the character’s feelings and thoughts ambiguously. I didn’t know what he was trying to say, it that about mental illness or about the fugitive billionaire? I didn’t quite get it I mean I liked Aza’s thought process but I didn’t like the story, I didn’t exactly know if its love or mystery?
My rating on Goodreads :
⭐⭐
Quote :
We never really talked much or even looked at each other, but it didn’t matter because we were looking at the same sky together, which is maybe even more intimate than eye contact anyway. I mean, anybody can look at you. It’s quite rare to find someone who sees the same world you see.
